Aluminum Tubing
We offer 6063-T832 drawn Aluminum Tubing in all sizes from 3/8 inch through 2.00 inch in .058 inch wall thickness. This is the same alloy used by commercial manufacturers of antennas. We have thousands of feet of each size in stock, at the BEST PRICES of any retail amateur provider. Although we provide materials in large quantities to manufacturers, we have no minimum order for the amateur builder. The aluminum tubing we offer is made in the USA, and the tubing is held to a tight tolerance so one size can telescope with the next size larger with just the right amount of clearance. More Info…
U-Bolt Saddle Clamps
We offer galvanized, stainless steel and zinc plated, with yellow dichromate dipped, saddle/muffler type CLAMPS for use in securing element to boom and BOOM to mast PLATES. The clamps we offer are 5/16 inch diameter for the smaller ones and 3/8 inch diameter for the larger sizes and range in sizes from 1.25 inches through 3.5 inches. The antenna is one of the few remaining parts of an Amateur Radio Station that can be built by anyone with the desire to do it. It is a very rewarding experience and there is no magic in making a high quality antenna that will compete with any of the ones that cost thousands of dollars. Once you have successfully built a Yagi antenna, you will be rewarded with the greatest improvement you can make to your station and will want to do it again.
